Engine Thrust question

I have an old Modeltech Calyso that I am installing a new firewall on. Does anyone know that engine thrust settings I should shoot for? Should I just start with 0-0? What do typical 60 sized two stroke ships run?

Thx

Scot

RE: Engine Thrust question

I can't specifically comment on your model, but between 1 and 2 degrees right thrust will suffice for most 60 powered pattern planes.

I would start at zero- then use shims or washers as needed! Chances are it will end up a little off (?) and you don't want too much---

RE: Engine Thrust question

The directions call for

RT 1.5 deg
DT 1.0 deg

Main wing incidence +0.6 deg
Stab incidence +0.4 deg

CG 125 to 145 mm

I bought my Calypso used and never checked to see how mine was set up but this should give you a start.
