Happy new year Rune.
Hot on the the tail of the Twister comes this.
It like... OK chaps, we've experimented with a real big fin... now let's try an airplane with a very small one!

Boy Patrick and the boys sure as hell are trying every avenue to run people off. Glad to see Stephane is with ZNLine now, he's a great pilot and has a lot of potential.

Hello my friends,

Sorry but my English is not so good.

Happy than some pilots like the new ZN Line plane. We hope this plane will be a good plane.
It's the first time than a airplane contructor want to do a plane as Stef. dream.

Pierre.

Been there, done that.

It wants to pitch down harder in knife edge, and doesn't have really enough authority for low speed rollers. The second part being the most pronounced.

The fin in the CAD drawing appears to be much larger than either the Enigma or Oxalys fin.....cant speak for the Oxalys but the Enigma has tremendous amount of yaw authority.

The Twister fin is proportionally sized to the fuse so I dont know if I would consider it large....after all the fuse is just as massive :)

Will it be a 1 piece or 2 piece wing?

papaone 04-06-2006 02:27 AM

Now it's one piece wing. May be in the future ZNline 'll done 2 pieces wing.
I'll receive my "Integral" at the beginning of may 2006. I'll post pics of the differents parts and 'll indicate each weight.
Stephane and his father Pierre Carrier 'll receive their plane totaly finished and painted in june.

Very nice :D

What is your goal for the weight for yours?? Also, what motor and servos will you
be using??Can you give us some simple measurements of this thing from the wing
and the fuse (like wing area and etc). Looks like alot of fun. Enjoy it :)

Fly Always,

Hello
Wing area is about less 63 dm2

riot3d 08-02-2006 03:09 AM

RE: new zn model!

Wing area is only 62.31, wow, that's even smaller than the Matt's Beryll - 63 dm2

bla bla 08-02-2006 03:14 AM

RE: new zn model!

Well thats perfect, I just don't believe in big wings anymore.
Our planes are just so light and super powered we just don't need all that wing area.

RE: new zn model!

Hello
Yeah wing is small (like Oxalys). I think roll wil be very easy !

Hello Papaone,

A+

Hello Pic
No problem, c'est bien d'avoir une lecture externe. Car quand on est "dedans" on ne se rend pas toujours compte de l'impact (sans jeu de mot avec l'avion du même nom !) de son message.
A+
