Joe,
We're all going to miss you (D1), good luck with everything in your new home. Maybe I'll see you at the NAT's next year. You should be doing pretty well in Intermediate by then. :)

I already miss you guys. Looking forward to seeing everyone at Nats next year. That means you, too, John and Scott. ;)

So far the Loveland Propbusters in Terrace Park looks like the closest field at 20min, and the Flying Cardinals club in Burlington, KY is 30 min and has lots of pattern and IMAC guys, and is host of a pretty sweet contest from what I hear.

Well, I didn't realize everyone I've ever met on RCU is in D4! :) Lots of familiar names this weekend. It is a really cool thing to already be plugged in on my first weekend 850+ miles from home.

Thanks to all of you, I had a really great time at my first D4 contest and really liked the Hebron field (minus the take off ramps on the runway), and everyone I met. Looking forward to next year and really getting to fly with you guys. Hopefully I'll see some of you indoors this winter.

Flew at Loveland today (which is actually in Batavia). HUGE open area, enormous approach, public use field. I like the paved runway. You have to walk your plane a few hundred feet though, so a cart is required for anything more than the bare essentials (like a generator).

Going to shoot for Hebron tomorrow. Flying with other pattern guys is worth a lot ;)

I will be in Hebron tomorrow picking up my new plane. Won't have anything of my own to fly though. To lazy to take one down with me

Joe, your welcome to come to our field and try it out. [link=http://airmasters.info]field[/link] We just moved to our new field in the Spring so the runway should be in good shape next Spring for ya. There are a few pattern flyers there, wide open area. The Cardinals is probably has the most pattern flyers and host events. What are you flying these days? I remember when you first decided to get into pattern, you've come a long way. Welcome to Cincy!
