Optic 6 2.4
Hi Guys,
I was renaming a couple of models and some how instead of capitol letters the program has changed to lower case. Hitec says "to rotate through alphabet list", but that dosen't work. How do I change back to caps?

Check that.
If so erase and retype.

Hi Zor,
Called Hitec again and got a different story this time. Seems that due to the shape of the letters and the way they are formed the X and Y will be shorter than the others. Go figure.

The optic 6 does not have lower case lettering in its naming menu. The letters X and Y do have a different appearance than the other letters in the screen. They will be slightly shorter and not quite as bold looking.

Not sure how this all of the sudden became such a huge issue? There are only 13 segments in this type of lettering/numbering icon so you only have so many options to make and X and Y. That's why they look small.

I do not see "such a huge issue".
I see a fellow who had model names in capital letters (so is quite clearly understood from his writing).
He tries to rename a couple of models.
Now, he cannot get capital letters and ask how to do it in capitals.
He is being told that there is no capitlal letters available. (How did he have the names in capital before remains a mystery).
I regretbeing unable to figure out your explanation about the x and the y being smaller and any reason for that.
I am going to sit on the "confused couch". LOL
Zor
Above edited to add the following ___
I cannot at this moment figure out the 13 icons you mentioned.
I can see that oblique segments might not reach as far up or down as horizontal and vertical lines do.
I am trying to figure out the 13 things (icons ?).

Hi MikeMayberry
The problem started with HITEC. I called the tech line to ask about the different cases of letters and was told "scroll through until the caps came up", also "that the list would be quite long". Now you know the rest of the story.
