hey there. im interested in getting another plane. I already own the flash 5x computer radio.

all i need is some small servos and a recevier, NOT another transmitter.

any advice on where i can get a good deal on this? Id hate to have to buy a transmitters, receviers and servo package since i already have one good transmitter.

Hitec sells flight packs that include the servos, receiver and battery in three different sizes. What plane are you setting up?

im planning on setting up a glider or park flyer.

i need the mirco 555 or similar and the hs-81 or similar.

but what confuses me is that the combos that also include a transmitter are sometiems cheaper. why is this?

In the past it had always been the case that if you needed a standard flight pack it was cheaper to buy a basic 4 channel system. Hitec has changed that with our flight packs and offer 3 versions. Get the Micro pack with the 555, 3 HS-81's and a 270mah battery w/switch harness. It sells for about $109.99.

Hey Mike why doesn't someone (Hitec maybe?) sell customizable flight packs so us guys with higher end stuff can get a good deal now and then too?

It sounds good but would be hard to impliment.

However, what other flight packs do you think would be good?

Giant Scale

I'd like to see a giant scale flight pack
1 hitec supreme 8 channel receiver
8 hitec 5945 or 5645 digitals
2 heavy duty switches
2 Nimh or Nicad batteries 2000mah or more

For an added charge you could add a second receiver and/or more servos.

Package it up at an attractive price and I'm sure you'd sell the hell out of them.
