Default Futaba 2.4 ghz receiver question

I just purchased the 10 CAG, and now I have to shop for receivers. Can someone tell me the difference between FAAST receivers and FHSS receivers . They are both 2.4 ghz, but do they all work with my transmitter.
Thanks

FASST and FHSS or S-FHSS receivers require a radio that is able to transmit in both modes. The 10CAG only transmits in FASST 7Ch and FASST Multi.
The compatible receivers are found here under the FASST column

http://www.futabarc.com/receivers/air.html

also look further down the page for a table shoing which are compatible Rx's.

You cannot use a FHSS or S-FHSS  Rx with a 10CAG.

Currently only the T6J can use the FHSS/S-FHSS Rx's. The 18MZ will also be compatible with these when it is released. Thereafter the T8FG(S), T12FG, T12Z, T14MZ will also receive a software update to enable use of the FHSS/S-FHSS Rx's. Your 10CAG will not be upgradable

ok - thanks. But when I review the list under FAAST receivers, some of them come up as "park flyer". What is the difference between a "park flyer" receiver and the others?

Park flyer receivers are smaller and lighter and useally have less range.
