Default Spektrum 10DXt

Has anybody tried this transmitter?

What experiences do you have with this radio, I mean if it is reliable and efficent. What about the expansion they mention in the web. I think 10 channels are a little bit short, with 12 it would be the best.

Thanks

It claims 18 channels with the Channel Expander. It claims May 2012 delivery date. I have only seen one at the Toledo Show last April. I don't know if I like the wide Tray Type design.

They aren't shipping yet. I have one on my desk that I use daily. It is very efficient to program, based on the DX8 user interface (but of course much more capable). The basic receiver shipped with it is, I believe, the AR10000. There will be a port to attach an XPlus module, which basically looks like another receiver except that it gets data from the AR10000 instead of from an antenna.

The XPlus module has some other very nice features which aren't discussed yet.

Andy
