Default Futaba Super 8 Dual Rate Switch Source

Does anyone know of a source to purchase a single or maybe a couple of Futaba radion switches. I had one fall off while the radio was in the case and don't need 10 and this is the minimum package I can find which is Tower Hobbies.

Thanks,

Steve

Yes there is an 8U switch pack but you can also get them individually.

I recently went thru the switch thing. I tried the LHS but no luck.
I did find you can order indivdual switches from Hobby Services

Default Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info. That's what I was afraid of. It's a shame to pay that kind of price for a what should be a $2.00 switch. I guess we are trapped by the proprietary "weak-built" switch's that probably generate a bigger profit margin that the radio itself.

For that kind of money you would at least think they would make them solid. This is my second switch to be off in the case when I opened the hard carrying case in a month's time.

Thanks again,

Steve

I tried extra hard before going to Futaba. Have a friend that owns a computer (not PC's) repair shop. He can find pretty much any component if it is out there. Got a big fat zero on the switches

The switches are Futaba specific, and not available anywhere else. I also have access to a large collection of electronics suppliers, and could not find a replacement.

Default Futaba Switches

Hi Steve,
I feel your pain!!! I also have a Super 8 and I busted the Trainer/Snap Roll switch off. I oredered the whole pack of switches from Tower for $42 + Tax (I live in IL) + Shipping. Needless to say it cost a pretty penny. Anyway, if you let me know what switch you need, maybe we can work out a deal for 1 of them. You can email me for fastest response at [email protected]
