Expert SL300 for 40 size 3d plane?
quick question,
i always use std futaba servos for most of my planes,
all at 4.8 volts
torque- 44.4oz
weight- 1.31 oz
time- .23sec/60
i want to use the expert SL300 servos
torque- 42oz
weight- .32oz
time- .21sec/60
as it seems to me, they are pretty close except for the weight. my concern are the nylon gears going to be good for a 40 size 3d plane? i have always used standard servos and have never had one fail on me. i used these sl300 servos on a .25 speed plane and were great.
going to work, or not take that chance>?
