Cirrus HT Digital Servos- Any Good?
I have no experience with Cirrus gear but I've seen a pretty attractive offer for 6 of these for $189.00.
Anyone have experience with these?

I have had excellent results using Cirrus HT analog servos. How about sending us a link to the servo in question, but IMHO there are much better options available both in pricing and quality such as the new Solar and Savox servos.

Not much of a deal in my opinion. Check the Hobby Partz site and have a look at the Solar D771 and D772 servos. They have had very good user reviews and are being offered at an extremely attractive introductory price.

Here are a higher torque rated servo. They have been getting good reviews too.

I can vouch for the accuracy and holding power of the Solar servos too. One caveat: I bought 4 for a helicopter and one died within 5 minutes of being hooked up and tested. The vendor replaced it with no questions asked. A second one had the motor wire vibrate loose and fail, which was caught on a preflight. I fixed it myself and hot glued all the internal wires and the wire coming out of the servo to keep vibration from being a problem again. So the Solar design is good, but quality control is where they are saving their money. If you buy them, hook them up and test them for an hour or so before flying with them, and I'll suggest cracking open the case and hot gluing the wires so they don't vibrate or get pulled.
