Default receiver hold question

I have a spektrum AR600 receiver. Recently when I plug my battery a red hold light comes on but doesn't flash or anything. When I move the transmitter controls the plane doesn't move. First time it has done this. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks in advance

Could be a couple of things.

First is to hold the transmitter a few feet from the model and make sure you're away from any metal surfaces while linking.

If that doesn't work rebind.

I've tried to rebind but the receiver stays the same and won't blink. What you mean by linking? Sorry I'm new at this

Binding is making the reciever memorize the ID code of the transmitter.

Linking is turning on the system and establishing communication between the reciever and transmitter that are already bound.

Unplug everything but the bind plug and the power input and try binding it.
