Default Spektrum and Jeti RF Testing

I am going to perform a series of RF tests on my Spektrum DX18 G2 and Jeti DS-16. The first test I have is RF scan of my DX8, it was handy. This is a DSMX scan. The DX8 is about 3' from my RF Explorer. You can see the frequency hopping that is taking place. I think there are 23 channels hopping.

It is showing us that so far 2 people are interested in the RF characteristics of our Spektrum Tx's.

Spectrum analyzers usually coast between 4-5K$
If this is decent quality its one hell of a bargain.
But then you need to know what it is telling you.

Thanks Pete. Interesting. What is it we are seeing? At first glance the Spektrum signal appears to be more robust if more is better. The legend says .410 sec sweeps. With 22ms framerate that would be like 18-19 packets.Right? Unless it is operating in 11ms mode. What is the framerate on the Jeti? I dont even know. There are clearly some similarities and differences. How would we define these?
