Default Futaba 14sg Glitch?

My 14sg has glitched 2x's. Very intermittent. Sent it off and both Tx and RX check out. Question would you trust it again?

What was the glitch? Did the controls stop working?

I have a 14SG and it has been reliable but the first day I owned it I noticed a glitch also, it was only once when I powered it up, channel 6 went to full deflection in the servo monitor and would't respond. Rebooting the radio fixed it and it has been fine ever since. It made me wary of the radio for a while though.

The first was on a 30cc Yak 55 it just quit. It could have been a bad switch or damaged power box. The 2nd was on an electric setup with a r617fs rec. the wing rocked once then spun 2x's left and in. When I picked it up all controls were centered. Now I'm wary!

You describe issues that are not the transmitter. Yes, I would trust it after a factory check up.

I bought mine Mode 1 in Australia. Might be difficult finding one in the USA though. I have tried to buy Mode 1 radios every time I visit the USA but generally have no luck.

I liked mine enough I bought another. My second one was used and required that the stick mode be changed. It turned out to be a very simple and obvious operation.
