Default which safe+ gear for pby

I am new to the hobby and considering a dynam pby since I live on a lake.
I would like to purchase the trans and receiver separately as an upgrade.
spectrum dx6e and admiral rx6000 appeal to my limited knowledge base.
I would like the package to include gps and safe type gyros.

any advice from experienced members would be appreciated.

thanks

Spectrum is over priced and why waste your money? The Detrum Tech by Dynam is priced better and I'm digging it. Spectrum is a pricey fanboy product series. Detrum Tech Gavin 6 or 8 channel with their gyro based receivers are really nice. I haven't tried their 9 Channel transmitter yet, Have fun and spend wisely.

Get the 8 channel for full use of the gyros and auto save function. Works as off/ gyro/ auto save on one of the assignable 3 position switches. I've been running the Gavin 8 since the middle of summer. Replaced Hitec Prism 7 and Hitec Eclipse 7 on 72 mhz. and am quite satisfied so far. Horizon makes some nice products but the Spectrum series for instance is very pricey. Feel like I'm priced out just on principle alone.
