New Futaba GYA573 Gyro - Question

Hi all
Does anyone know if the latest Futaba GYA573 Gyro is compatible with the Futaba 16IZ Transmitter?
I've been told it works fine with the 16IZ-Super and 28SZ but I cannot get it to recognise it on my 16IZ Tx.
There are no recent updates on the Futaba Website for the 16IZ since v8 (about 18 months ago).
I just received this new Gyro yesterday but no joy in getting it to work.

Yes it does - the first test example I played with was with me using my original 16iZ & 32MZ.
First was by using the buttons - which is very limited for adjustment.
But using the GPB-1, you have the full menu available.

Morning Modtron
Thanks for getting back to me.
I'm surprised that you managed to to get the GYA573 working on the T16IZ. (My friend has the 16IZ Super and it works fine on that TX (via the screen set-up)
I tried to set it up the same way as the previous generation GYA553 but couldn't get it to do anything.
I was able to allocate the basic functions on the screen (servo reverse, gyro position in aircraft, etc) but not switch allocation or AVCS, etc.
Perhaps when able, I'll try the painful method of gyro direct button setting.
