Rciever Repair
Last weekend I had a pretty hard landing with my P-51, only the fusalage suffered any real damage, but i did land a few feet from another pilot who was running his engine in the pits. He had a pretty bad scare and he was kind of annoyed, but he'll be fine. I decided to take out the radio system from the P-51, and install it on another model for this week. Unfortuantly the 2nd channel on the reciever doesnt respond. Ive switched the servos around to make sure, and every time a servo is connected to the 2nd channel it wont respond. So, i was wondering if anyone out there knows what the problem could be, and if can possibly be repaired. Thanks in advance!!
Just in case this makes a difference:
Reciever: Hitec Supreme 8-Channel FM
Thanks again!

RE: Rciever Repair
A replacement reciever would cost around $50.00 and radio south charges $35.00 per hour + shipping. Thanks for the link but i was wondering if it was possible to do the repairs on my own. You dont know any repair manuals or something like that?

RE: Rciever Repair
Send it to Hitec for service. Worst-case-scenario - if its out of warranty they'll replace it with a new one and charge you the replacement fee of $36.95, including shipping.
If its still in warranty you'll have no worries.
