Default Indoor range check

Does indoor range check for any radio with TX antenna down different than the normal field range check? And if so would the distance decrease or increase within couple of rooms?

Too many variables. Not a realistic test. Indoor plumbing, house wiring, etc. will upset natural RF wave pattern. Take it outdoors, always.

FCC: jim is right, take it outside!! I would also recomend not being near any metal fences, power lines, etc. Heck, just do a range check where you will be flying the aircraft to be sure off accurate results!
