Default Futaba J to Airtronics Z

Are the plugs, wires and switches on Futaba ....ok to use with Airtronics Z receiver and switch....Reason I ask is that everyone has an opinion and it is not clear....I have been unable to connect my Z plugged voltmeter into my new Futaba equipment airplane...Do I need an adapter and if so what is it called? I know you are busy so just let me know when you can and thanks...Richard

As far as I know the "Z" plug (blue in color) should fit into futaba receptacles, the old style will not fit.
