Default Changing crystals

OK, I've got a new Tx, and my old Tx is gone, so I wanna change my crystal for the old Rx that came with my old Tx. My old Tx was a 29 MHZ radio/ Rx. My new one is 72Mhz. Can I buy a crystal and replace the old Rx to 72Mhz? the old Rx is a R127, the new tx's a Eclipse 7

29 MHZ is not in the same band with 72MHZ. If you just replace the crystal, it will not work. The entire receiver would have to be retuned, which in this case, it would practically have to be rebuilt. You would save yourself a lot of trouble if you buy a new receiver. I doubt that your old reciever is selective enough (in any case) for the channel spacing on 72 MHZ. Besides, receivers are not that expensive.

Wisdom is right. The tuner has to be retuned. Send it to Futaba or Radio South.

Uggg... Rxes are expensive if you demand top quality!
I've had enough of Single conversions. I'm going dual conversion.

Although my parkflier may not fly far... I'm not taking any risks. I'm thinking of buying a Micro 555, but how expensive is it? $75, could get a 8 channel Rx. Hmm.

BTW, I don't live in the US, prices for anything is highhhhhhhh
