Default Receiver Good Or Bad

How do I check a receiver to find out if it has been trashed in a crash?
Is there anywhere were you can get them repaired?
Are there any specific tests that can be ran to check out a receiver for realiablity?
I have a Futaba FP-R127DF that I had installed in my 4-Star 1.20.When I used ailerons along with some rudder mixing the controls flutter after control input in released. .This receiver came out of a plane which was subjected to a crash and I am doubful if I should use it or not.I changed to another receiver and do not have any extra movement or flutter with this receiver.
Any help will be appreciated-Thanks

I cannot see how the RX would cause flutter, flutter is an action of the control surface or slop in the servo. If you're leary about the RX send it in for service telling of the crash and request a vibration check. Just because you didn't experience flutter after the RX change out, doesn't mean it won't happen again under the right conditions.

Maybe I used the wrong word for my discription. The control surfaces on the ailerons only, would continue to pulsate after the input was stopped.I`m talking of observations made while plane was on work bench in front of me.It did`nt do this when RX was changed. It seemed to be worse when mixed with some rudder input.

When in doubt, send it in.

A receiver cannot cause flutter but a servo can.
I would send my equipment to Tony at Radio South.

Well that figures. This is the first time I`m using GWS hi torque servos.I have never had any problems with Futaba,Tower,Hobbico or Hitec servos.I wonder way these are acting up.I`m about to pull them and use my old standby manufacturers. This is a new plane(Sig 4-Star 1.20) , I just finished and I don`t want to crash because of inferrior equipment.
Has anyone else out there had problems with GWS servos. This aways seems to happen.A person thinks they`er getting a good deal and it `s not a good deal if they can`t use them.

I won't use any servo that is not Futaba, Tower, Hitec, JR. The others are cheep and you get what you pay for.
