Default antenna question

I damaged my antenna wire and lost about 2 inches off the end. I was wondering if this will affect anything or if I don't need to worry about it.

Default Antenna damage

two inches lost off the length will probably not make any difference. I have bought new replacement antennas to installed in receivers and found this much difference in length.
Good luck Lee

Default antenna question

2str -- yes, antenna length is fairly critical, esp depending upon the type of model you are flying and the conditions you are flying in. Flying a 15 sized sport model with a standard dual conversion receiver staying in close? you'll likely never see a difference. Flying a 1/3 scale gasser with lots of other noise issues to be afraid of already, or flying somewhere like LA? definitely something to be worried about.
