Futaba FP T8A P PCM 1024?
Is this an older TX? Anybody familiar with it? I just made an offer on one, in the "For Sale" section below... Seems like a great deal but I am not real familiar with it.
Hoping I didn't jump the gun on that deal!!

Futaba Fp T8AP
I owned one of these sets and it was a great radio but it was 512 not 1024. You might ask for a picture of the TX and RX, if it doesn't say 1024 it isn't. I saw the same ad but thought that maybe Futaba made this set for a year or so before they came out with the 9VAP. I thought that the 9VAP was the first 1024 PCM from Futaba but I have been wrong before.

This is the older version of the 8U.
It basically has one rate setting for up/down or left/right while the 8U's has one setting for each.
