Default Reversing S9402 servo

Hi All
Can anyone tell me how I can electronically reverse a S9402 servo as I have a pair that are going to be used for flaps. It is not possible to change its location in the wing and I do not wish to use a servo reverser.
Thanks in advance
Tony

In order to reverse a servo you will have to take it apart and reverse the connections to the motor and there are three wires on the pot. you will exchange the wires on the outside leave the one in the middle where it is. This will require soldering so if you are not good at soldering it best to get help or find another solution

This is a bad idea on Futaba servos. The motor is soldered directly to the board.

I think you can unsolder it and rotate it and the tabs will line up to be resoldered. I done it on a 148 the other day. You have to unsolder the pot and the motor to get at the pot wiring. The motor has screws holding it in under the gears on some of the models. There is a colored dot on the motor near the solder tabs so that the assemblers get it in correctly when they build them. The pot is locked in so you must unsolder the leads on the board or you can't get the pc board out.

I would recommend that you get a like hitec servo that will run backwards to futaba

Too bad they didn't offer factory reversed analog servos. Some digitals are programmable. The thing I don't like about one Hitech and one Futaba is the mismatch in speed and torque. I have a dual elevator on my just purchased 1/4 scale Kangke CAP232 and will have to deal with this soon. I don't have the tx to handle two elevator servos. Now I see why people say to just get the 9C. Because Futaba markets their line of tx's to have limitations to get the max $$ for the 9C's. They got me (I bought the 6EXA not knowing all these little limitations).

Don't mix brands - use two Hitec servos. Its easy to reverse one of them.
