Default JR 10X Switch Assignment

How do I assign switches on a 10X? For instance, if I want my snaproll switch to activate channel 6, then what must I do?

Default RE: JR 10X Switch Assignment

The Flap/Snap assignment isn't as easy as the others since it typically needs a mixer. First, disable channel Flap (ch 6) in the FUNCtion menu. This decouples the Flap switch from channel 6. Channel 6 and the flap switch do nothing. Create a mix for Channel 6 to do what you want, and in the Switch assignment page in the mixer dialog, and select SNP for the snap switch. Now the Snap Roll switch will control channel 6, and you tell it how you with the variables in that mixer. Also note that you can mix channel 6 to itself, which is probably what you will end up doing since the Snap Button is an on/off control. Mixing the channel to itself is fast and easy for on/off type functions.

Check the manual on page 19 for the FUNCtion menu, and page 42 for mixing.
