Hello,
It's been a while since I've flown RC and I'm hoping to get back into it. I have a Futaba T6XA that my wife bought me in 1997 or 1998. It has NO gold sticker. I don't know if the sticker has just fallen off through the years.

Is it legal? Should it be 'worked on?'

I appreciate any help.

Personally, I'd spring for a new set of batteries for transmitter and receiver.

The cut off year was 1992. Any system before then had to be upgraded. For several years after that you would see the gold sticker on old radio's. After a period of time the manufactors quite useing the gold sticker. Dennis

Still good and many people at our clubs field still use that radio!
