futaba 7cap or JR6102?
I was wondering any comments on if I should get a Futaba 7CAP or JR 6102. I have been flying for a while and live 3d. I am using a Futaba t6exa s at the moment and I want to upgrade. I have been looking at the Jr 6102 for a while and love the looks and the lcd, but I just read in depth about the Futaba 7cap and it also looks great. Remember I am looking to fly 3d with this new tx and I am not partial to JR or Futaba. Please help!!
Thank you!!
Thank you!!

You might want to look into a 9 channel radio or more. The 7C or the 6102 offer around the same features as your 6EXA with a little more so it will more of a waste of money than an upgrade.
Also, the 7C doesnt have dual elevators and from what I remember (although you might be able to get it through a mix) and I don't think the 6102 has them either, so bigger planes will be a problem for you.
Check out the Futaba 9C, JR 9303, Airtronics RD8000 or the JR 8103 (I think that's what it is called).

well the thing with the t6xa is that it is not user friendly. I am looking for somthing more user friendly. I like the graphs on the 6102 but the 7cap has it's own advantages. Any comments would be great! agin I know thr tx I have now is capable but I want something newer and more user friendly(also I promised my buddy I would sell him my Futaba t6xa)
Thanx for any comments!

If you are after ease-of-use, get the 9CAP. It is a lot easier to use than the 7C and will be more capable in the long haul. If you get a 7C you will probably end in the same place as you are now, what to get?
I had a 9C for about 2 years before I "upgraded" to a 9Z. I only did it for vanity reasons - the price was a steal too. If not for that, I would still be a very satisfied 9C user.

Im not sure you want to buy a new transmitter for the right reasons. If you have ease of use problems with your 6EXA you will have the same problems with both the 6102 and the 7C since the 6EXA is designed for beginners.
Why don't you try to read the manual and sit with the transmitter for a couple of hours and just try things with it. Just like blikseme300 said, if you buy the 7C or the 6102 you will be back here in a year with the same question.

Another thing to think about is that if you buy a Futaba (since that is what you are using) you can use your existing receivers...
if you switch to JR, then you will need to replace your receivers...
I use the 9C and love it
