No problem. I have a JR700 receiver running a mix of JR and Hitec servos. As for which way they plug in you will find that the connector has a chamfer on one end so it will only go in the correct way.

I also have several of the 700/770 receivers running a mix of servos.

Positive Power: red
Negative Power: Black/brown
Signal: JR: orange, Hitech: yellow, Futaba: white.

For JR, the signal wire is normally on the top of the receiver case where the label is.

You won't have any trouble with Hitech servos. Try the digitals.

the normal jr wireing on the r770 while looking in top view where u can see the label of channel is:

batt
aux2
aux1
gear
rudd
elev
alie
thr

so u connect a normal jr servo connecto as follows:

brn - buttom pin
red - mid pin - signal
org - top pin - close to the top of the R770.

as well as any other servo that u use all keep the blk/blue(in sanwa & airtronics) connected to the lowes pin in the conecctor socket.
