Default ACE R/C Servo Master - Whatzit anybody remember?

Picked up an Ace R/C servo master, anybody remember what this thing does? It has 4 connectors, two labeled "in" for channel 1 and 2, two labeled "out" for channel 1 and 2. Is it some type of servo mixing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recall that it slowed down a servo (for scale retracts) as well as performed gear door sequencing. I have no idea how to hook it up. Just plug it into a Rx and servo and start poking sticks at it.
