Default Futaba 7C Question

I am considering the 7C for my next radio (I have a 6EXA). I would like to get into heli's some as well as all the planes that I fly. What's the difference between the 7CA and the 7CH? Other than a smooth throttle stick, do both radios have programming for both helis and airplanes? Thanks

Default RE: Futaba 7C Question

The H as you said has the smooth ratchet and the switches are opposite the A version. Also the heli radios when purchased as a system ship with a bigger rx battery and sometimes better servos.

The software is identical with exception that the A version defaults a new model memory to Aircraft and the H to helicopter but thats a simple selection in one of the menus when you program up a new model.

If you are getting into heli's get the H version.
