Default Sanwa (Airtronics) RD 6000 Super -- Need Help!

HI

I have a new Sanwa RD 6000 Super, it worked fine until my last flight when it suddenly stoppet transmitting any signals what so ever! I have checked the Crystal the reciever, and they are fine! I crashed my plane because of it!

I went and got it checked by an engineer here, as there are no airtronics dealers here in India, and we figured out that there is one little IC on the bottom right hand side as you open the back pannel. I cant read the name as its burnt and Airtronics just refuses to give me the circuit Diagram.

I need help, if somebody is using a RD 6000 Super, and could check and tell me the name of the IC, or if somebody has the Circuit diagram for the Transmitter chip!

It works out too expensive for me to send it to US and get it repaird and then get it back! Cant afford it! [&o]

I would be really glad if somebody helped me!

Sawan

It is not possible to be 100% about the IC from your description, but if you are speaking of the main pc board, and it is located in the middle of the board, on the end opposite the charge jack, and is an 8-pin surface mount device, it is a voltage regulator, 78LO7.
Be sure and check the output pin to ground, a shorted capacitor or other component downstream might be the cause of its failure. Luck!

Hi Sawan
This IC is a dual operational amplifier of NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTORS LM 358. Take a look in the Internet for get application notes, pins and all. I work with RC repair in Brasil. See more in my home page - www.manorc.com.br
