Default Radio compatibility

Help

A daft beginner question i an sure but here we go.

I have a Futaba ff6 radio. this is a six channel radio. Will this work with 8 channel recievers as long as the shift of both matches.

Yes, if both the Tx and Rx are FM(PPM) and as noted the modulation shift must match and the proper crystal to match the Tx channel. The Rx crystal should be of the same brand as the Rx and of the proper type, single or dual conversion crystal.

You will of course only have six channels avaliable.
