Default 9303 Programing question

Hello:

I am new to JR radios and am working on setting up my Funtana 90. How do I set up dual elevator servos? The manual leaves much to be desired and does not specifically cover this need. Also are there any other sources or guides for programing the 9303??

Thanks

Tom

Try the support section of the Horizon web site. There are a couple of additional documents that hold your hand right thru setting up what you want and more.

Don't take the tag line personal Tom, it appears on each of my post. Once you get familiar with the radio the manual amost starts to make sense on the 9303, but the additional documents sure do help out. Also McGregors <sp> (England) has a nice manual on their website that you can download and print out.

In the system menu, go to DeviceSEL.
Scroll down until you are on the bottom line under the AUX2 column.
Press the selector until you have INH
Press List and go to Wing TYPE
Scroll to the Mate line under ELEV.
Press selector and select AUX2

That's it. You could use any channel, but AUX2 is handy. Once you have this selected, all your menus will show REL (Right Elevator) for the elevator channel and LEL (Left Elevator) for the AUX2 channel. You can go back and inhibit the gear switch also, for example, and when you press the selector on the Mate line, both AUX2 and Gear will show up to be selected as the elevator's "mate."

It's really a slick system. I especially like the twin engine menu that allows oyu to select a "mate" engine channel and also have 2 throttle curves.
