Default Throttle/Brake Trigger Modification

I run powerboats and use a wheel type transmitter with throttle trigger.

In my boats I do not have reverse or brakes.

The throttle trigger with these radios is centered. Push forward for brakes, pull back for forward.

I want to use the full range of this trigger without the center detent to desensitize the throttle.

How do I modify the trigger so it stays fully forward (brake position) for the idle position and have it smoothly pull all the way back for wide open?

I am only using half of the servo travel for my throttle. I want the full range of the servo travel for this.
