Futaba 9C : Using sticks in programming
I truly love my 9C however one thing that bugs me is using the
sticks to select different options. Example: Exponential or DR , when I move the stick to the right to highlight and change
the values it stays there however when I move the stick to the left to change those values it quickly pops back to the right , meaning that I have to hold the stick to the left and at the same time rotate the knob to change the values. Very awkward. This may seem trivial to some but the reason I mention it is that when changing the left and right DR and Expo values on Rudder this is not the case, when I move the stick to the left or right it will stay
highlighted where I move it. Are there Gremlins in my radio ?
I hope Ive explained this sufficiently.
Does anyone else have this problem ?

John,
I know what you mean. Mine doesn't seem to do that but I doubt you have a bad radio. Have you tried to gently tap the stick to select the proper value? It took some practice for me with my 6XAs to get it just right. More of a PITA than anything else I guess.

You got it ! It seems that when it was new I could just "bump" it over but now I literally have to hold the right stick to the left with one hand and "dial in" with the other. It just strikes me that it wasnt intended to be this way.
Ok now that I take a second look I see that its only ch1, ail , that has this problem. All other channels can easily select either left or right servo travel values. I hate to be so picky but maybe its because Im so pleased with this radio that I just want it to be "right". Could I have a problem with the right pot ?
Well I sent Ann Marie an email so if your interested I'll let you know what the official word is when I hear from her. Maybe this is an across-the-board thing with the 9C ? I dunno.

(Sound of me firing up my new toy) John, I checked mine and it works pretty well. I found that I could just barely lean on the stick in the wrong direction and it would stay on the correct side. Did you happen to change the spring settings or anything like that? The best way to see if your centering if off is to hook a servo up to a surface and move the stick around some and see if the center changes at all.
