Servo reversor and Y harness causing problem
I have a plane with twin elevator servos and twin flap servos. Both have electrodynamics EDR 106 servo reversors. When both these reversors are connected to the Rx via a y harness...there are serious problems with the way the servos behave. Some times the elevators dont move together, sometimes they keep moving up and down...sometimes together, sometimes not. The flaps also move randomly
When I connect the servos directly to the Rx they are fine. When the servos are connected to the Rx via the reversors, they are FINE TOO. So basically, the moment the y harness is connected, there are all sorts of problems.
I am using a standard size (length) y harness, and a 4.8v battery. What could be causing this behaviour?. I have made checks and can safely confrim that there is no radio intereference.
I think it could be due to low voltage to the reversor due to the y harness. I use a Futaba 9cap. Is there a way to avoid these reversors? Or how to get around this problem?
Advice please!!!
Thanks in advance,
Anurag

I'd send an e-mail to Andy Low at electrodynamics and ask him. Perhaps these reversers will not work with Y harnesses or you need to use a certain type of harness. You should be able to get his e-mail for his website.
