Default basic tx/rx terminology?

i am used to basic radios with two trim buttons and that is about it. i just purchased an Airtronics MX-A and am confused on the setup terminology.

specifically:

what is sub trim setting vs the main trim knobs?

what is steering dual rate?

thanks, i haven't been able to find this info online, maybe just too basic!

btw, this radio is used on an Associated RC18MT.

Default RE: basic tx/rx terminology?

Sub-trim moves the entire travel limits left or right, whereas trim only changes the neutral position within the travel limits.

As the name suggests, steering dual-rates enables setting up a high and a low steering rate, so at the flip of a switch you have more responsive or less responsive steering with the same steering input.
