Default Super 8 Mixing, dual elevator problems

Question:
I have Don Edberg's book on the super 8 and it does not address my problem, sort of.

I have two elevator servos that I am trying to mix and want to be able to reverse one from the other. No problem, set up mixer but #2 servo (pluged into ch 7) will not trim from the EL trim tab.

Don's book says to use ch 8 on EL servo # 2 on a 8 ch rx but I am using a 7 ch rx and using 7 as a slave to ch 2 (EL).

Any sugestions other than getting an 8 ch rx? (will do as a last resort only)

Thanks,
Aron
