Default Does anyone fly the standard size GWS servos???

I've been looking around for some high torque servos and found the GWS' with 100oz/in. I've seen 2 of them sell for less than $30. Has anyone flown these?? Are they any good???

I have been looking at the new GWS BP120 Might Micro for awhile. The weigh .98 oz and produce 75 oz.in torgue @.17 speed. Metal gear too. They sell for $24. I am curious as well as how these servos work? I do have several of the BP110 at $10 each. They work well, without any problems after over one year of extensive use.

People at S.P.A.D. forum over at RRCombat:
http://www.rccombat.com/forum/default.asp
(SPAD forum is somewhere near the bottom).
Most of the people praised GWS servos, while some complained...

I've bought these new GWS BP120 Might Micro but have yet to install them into my new plane...

I assume you mean the GWS S03T 2BB servos...

I had them in one plane until it crashed, due to a design flaw. They seemed to work well, but a bit slow. I haven't put them in another plane yet, but I will. Also, they don't seem to mind 5 cell packs. During testing / setup I was using a 5 cell 2800 NiCd pack (C-size), and they never jittered even when it was fresh off a charge.

I have been using GWS servos in my Phaton 90 on elevator an rudder both are ball bearing and 87 in/oz, have had no trouble at all, have bought some more to use on my new extra 300.

I have about 8 GWS sevros, some standards, some minis, 2 flap, all work well. But the 2 Digitals that I have are shockers. They continually hunt for center and bounce when moved. Not real good at all.
