new radio
I just moved up from my old 7 channel Prism Hitec. I found out it wouldn't do everything I wanted it to do with my new Ultra Stick. I figured I get the new Eclipse but then I found out it wouldn't do everything either (crow in particular with a throttle channel). You would think the new radio would out do the old radio. I ultimately bought a Futaba 8UHFS off of RCONLINE (I can feel my computer freezing as I type that). The guy did neglect to send the module and crystal (His name is BARBER <[email protected]> beware of this guy. He made and offer and then sent only the radio and not the other things he offered).
Anyway the radio is great. It will do everything but have the extra channel (when will I need 9 channels?). You can get a radio/rcvr/module/crystal and usually a case for around $250. I'd do it again even after getting screwed by Barber <[email protected]>. All the guys are going after the new Futaba radio so you can the 8us at a great price!~
