Default Expo setting on a Hitec Eclispe 7 radio

I am confused about setting up the expo setting on my Hitec eclipse 7 radio. I want the controls to be less sensitive at the beginning of the thru. Do I use the + or - setting on a hitec Eclispe 7 radio?

All Hitec computer Tx's that have Expotential: Prism 7X, Optic 6 and Eclipse 7 for softer center sticks (this is what you are looking for) are programed with negative expo also be aware with the Prism and Eclipse that the expo is avaliable on all three axis (aileron, elevator and rudder) as well as high and low rates. Expo on high and low rate as well as each axis is set up separately and each may be of a different setting.

The simple answer to your question is Hitec is programed with negative expo for what you want.

G'day Mate,
I have edited my post because I checked the Eclipse 7 manual & negitive is softer around neutral, same as Futaba & opposite to JR.
Sorry My mistake,
It is still easy to add heaps & make sure it works the right way, then reduce the amount of expo to around 15% & adjust as required.

Allan,

Thanks for the replay, but I know for sure that Hitec radio's are the same as Futaba. I will try want you suggested to night at home and if that does not work I'll give it negative threw.

Thanks
