RE: rx question
usually there is a ch number sticker on them when they are sold with a crystal if you bought yours used from someone and they removed the sticker you are kind of out of luck.the only thing you can do is send the tx and rx to futaba or radio south for tuning to each other.

do a real range check by walking with the antenae extended all the way until the plane is as far away as you fly .leave the tx and rx on while you walk and touch no controls,a helper should observe that nothing in the plane moves on your walk out.when at the limit cycle all the controls to insure proper operation then there will be no doubt

RE: rx question
Hi there Venom 290
If you look into the receiver where the crystal goes in, if there is a red color near the plug in it is a high band receiver. No red, it's low band.
Regards,
Dennis
