futaba 3001,3003 or 3004, please help
i'm going to put together a GP Big Stik 60 size to get my rusty fingers back in the groove after a 15 year layoff, and i will also be using this bird to break-in my OS FS91's.
after that the engines have homes in pattern type birds where i am using Futaba 9001's.
i'd like to equip the Big Stik with some not so expensive servos, and want to stick with futaba................the 3003 and 3004's look like they are the same specs, but does one center better than the other?
and please let me know what you think of the 3001 or the 3010

Hi,
I have the last 10 years quite good experience with a lot of 3001. It's the cheapest Futaba 1-ball-bearing servo. The 3003 has no ballbeauring. I have been using these servos mostly in trainers and low-wings of 60"-size up to 80".
Never had a failure with these servos during flight. After some heavy crashes...I can remember of 3 lost srvos in total, which is very good for all the crashes the last 10 years.
But for faster planes above 60 inch, I would search for more than that basic servo.
