Default Airtronics Non-Z receiver & Hitec servo (Help)

Good Day All,

I am about to acquire an Airtronics receiver that is the Non-Z (i.e. pre 1997) style of connection.

After looking at some pictures of Airtronics receivers on-line, I get the impression that I should be able to switch the Hitec servo "+" & "-" wires, then make a small modification to the Hitec servo plug (the male end).... and then be able to plug this modified servo into the airtronics receiver.

Is this assumption correct?

Does anybody have any experience with this?

Cheers,

Marcus.

You're on the right track Marcus.

Swapping the +ve and -ve wires is all it should take (and shaving the plug to fit if necessary).
