Default 4* 60 Servo Extensions

I was just about to order my flight pack from tower for my 4* 60 build that is almost complete.

I have a couple of questions for the group before doing so.

1. What length and size aileron servo extensions should I use?
I'm thinking 18" extension heavy duty would be best.

2.Should I be concerned with interference with these extensions?

3.Do I need a 6.0v battery pack to compensate for the extra length in wire or will 4.8 be o.k?

Any other suggestions or information welcome.

Thanks

I used a y-connector with 12" extensions on mine. If you are useing independant channels for each aileron, regular 12" extensions should be fine.

Should be no problem with interference.

No, a regular 4.8v battery back will be fine.

As far as other suggestions go, use the search function, there are tons of threads on 4* mods etc.

The thicker the wire the better.

I just solder in the additional wire needed and for a few cents have the length I need. 4.8volts is fine in mine and no hint of problems with wiring extended.
I should say I use 22 gauge wire, heavier than the wire on the servo.
