GWS Crystals cost about half of what a Futaba costs,are they compatible with Futaba recievers?Any opinions on the brand?

Refer to GWS Crystal Compatability Chart for RC units and note there are two different sizes of crystals - mini and standard.

Why not buy the GWS Rx too? I have had very good success with the 4 I own.

According to that chart, the GWS crystals will only work in Futaba single conversion Rx's, NOT in a dual conversion Rx, but with some error. I suppose you have to decide whether the savings is worth the error and the possible implications. []

where do you guys buy the gws crystals. I tried twice to buy them on UnitedHobbies but I always got the mini-crystals. I'm searching for the normal size, 40mhz. I want some different channels on that 40mhz for competition...

Please let me know soon, because I actually really need those crystals
