Default Eclipse 7 programming

I've an 'understanding' problem with my Eclipse! I'm using an FMA Co-Pilot which has a remote activation feature and I've currently got it on channel 5 which is usually used for the landing gear. This gives me remote on/off and it works fine. However, I want to also remotely change the sensitivity of the Co-Pilot while in the air. I think I should be able to use the channel 7 switch to turn it on or off and then the VR2 knob to adjust the sensitivity. The manual - to me anyway - is a little vague on how to do this and talks about mixers in relation to channel 7. Can anybody please tell me in simple terms how to achive my objective? Cheers from Oz.

Default Eclipse with Co-Pilot

I did the following with excellent results.:

Put the Co-Pilot on channel 6, the flap channel, and using the flap knob, you can turn the Co-Pilot all the way on or all the way off or any sensitivity in between.

Using the channel 5 gear switch is handy if you only have 5 channels, like the Hitec Flash radios.

Thanks for the reply Dick. Doesn't exactly solve my issue, however, since I'm running dual aileron servos and have flaperons active so channel 6 is already used. Also, in a 'panic' I feel it's easier to flick a switch rather than turn a knob. Cheers from Oz.
