Default IS ANYONE COMPILING A JR X9303 FOR DUMMIES?????

Are there any web accessible sites where hints/examples on programming the JR X9303 are compiled? Horizon has a few setup examples for a couple of airplanes. The owner's manual is fairly basic and has just a couple of generic setup examples. The XP9303(72Mhz) is similar but seems its screens are often different with sometimes different choices. The X9303 is obviously very capable. It is so frustrating having such a capable transmitter and not knowing how to make it operate to its fullest, or even know all it can do. Just curious if anyone is compiling how to examples, such as 1)make twin rudders act as speed brakes, 2)make the nose wheel steering servo only work when gear is down, 3)etc.............. Maybe we could start a thread where different setup functions are posted. After a while, with all our inputs, we could start to more thoroughly use this transmitter. What do you think?

wildnloose, I have, and what I find on the X9303 page are links to programing the XP9303 and the long article goes thru about 10 or twelve pages of setting up a glider. Perhaps you could be more specific if I am missing the X9303 guidance on JRRadios.com

Well, let me start by saying that I only have basic airplanes. I do not have dual rudders (at least not yet) and I do not need to turn my steering off. Sounds like you have a jet, your questions may be answered in that forum.

Now, the problem is there are several different ways to tackle the same issue, so I doubt any 2 people will do it the same. For example, I found this setup for #2 (Free mix lever/stick you want to use for brake s to gear channel and use the second page on mix to deactive the mix with the gear up (GER box on screen). The actual percentage will vary depending on servo/arm length).

You can also follow the 9303 program mix example (Smoke System Mixer) it will work as well. I use it for a remote glo system (switch turns glo on/off. when on, throttle position controls glo on/off). In your case you will mix the nose wheel steering to the gear. Many jet guys do this.

As for #1, You will probably use a flight mode. I have not tried this but it makes sense in my mind...
I doubt you will find many examples of this one. Most people find their rudders too important to use for anything other than its intended purpose.

Usually when I try to program a function or mix, I have to draw out the logic on a piece of paper and work with it until it makes sense. Then I try to program it...
