Default Servo speed specs standard.

Why are servo's rated at X seconds/60 degrees? What is so special about 60 degrees?

Default RE: Servo speed specs standard.

I do not know if there is anything special about 60 degrees. I just figured that was a number that was agreed upon to use as a standard distance. Like you I would really like to find out the real reason.
