Spektrum 6100e Receiver in a Carbon Model
Hi All
I am using a Spektrum 6100e receiver in a DLG glider that is all carbon.
This of course reduces the range to about 10 feet with the button depressed.
Would it cure the problem if I extended the aerials by about 2 inches so that they could exit the sides of the model.

From what I understand, the antanae cables are special shielded and tuned to lenght. So lengthening or modifying them may not be the way to go. Can you move the Rx closed to the surface of the cabin and then run the antanae outside.

Ihave 7 of these rx plus a number of double rx types 6200 /700 921 , etc.
The carbon fuselage is a problem child for any 2.4 system and for the single rx such as the 6100- not a recommended application
