Anybody out there using am Hitec Eclipse 7 on helos? I may have just aquired one in a deal on a beginner .30 size helo and would like to know wether to sell it or keep it. I have a Futaba 9CHP but the helo comes with the radio and all the standard servos. I have no experience with the Hitec radios and if I decide to sell it, what would it bring in used condition both with and witout the RX and servos?

I'll say keep it (the manual I think may be downloaded from www.hitecrcd.com) it has separate helo settings.
If u decide to sell it let me know

I am using an Eclipse 7 in both my Raptors.
A good Radio. A GREAT bang for BUCK
Very easy to program.

keep it, I have one and I am very happy with it, no problems with it at all.
It has all the advanced settings that some of the other expensive radios have eg. flight conditions, programmable mixers etc

Thought I had the deal closed on on helo with the Hitec radio. Unfortunatley I was a little premature with my questions and couldn't finish the deal. Thanks everyone for the feedback none-the-less.

The pack you are talking about includes what for which price?
I found one with the raptor .30 v2 + tt .39 + eclipse 7+ robbe g200 gyro+5 servos for about 850-925$
I just fear to outgrow the radio (I don't know how it is) and the g200 sounds like a crappy gyro, or I'm wrong? Is it a good price?

It was a Raptor 30 V1 RTF with Eclipse 7 radio for $650. Wasn't bad, just didn't move fast enough
